The PS2 memory card was free so then I felt obligated to buy one of the games, xbox games were $3 each, and I'm glad I did it was a $14 game.

This lady had a mario edition dsi $35, black dsi $25, blue? dsi $25, maybe 10 crappy ds games.  I asked how much the ds games were and picked these out, roughly 1/2 off retail.  I just wanted to look at the $40 vita.  This guy awkwardly came into the garage and mentioned he'd already been there.  I knew right away he was a reseller.

This is where the story gets great.  I kinda figured he was looking this shit up on his phone and came back.  He said he was doing a second sweep.  I saw him eyeing the vita I was looking at and I started to smile.  I pretended to be interested and was going all over the box.  The lady told me it was missin the power cord.  The dsi's would not turn on , this would not turn on.  I'm not messing with it.  Finally I set it back down and he goes over to it and asks about.

THEN... very awkwardly, and she did not hear him the first time, said something along the lines of this "Well I called gamestop and they said they would give me $_ _ for it but it has to be model # _ _.  So then she helped him find the model number and I picked up the two ds games for $3 each.

The dreamcast/ps1 lot came from the thrift store.  They were put into two seperate bags and one of them even had a faith hill cd and some other useless crap.  All Sports.  The top row of games is either missing game, case, or broken.  Allot of the games looked pretty scuff, maybe poorly buffed.  Allot of the cases are broken.  Those and the wii game the total was $10.  -->

$20 -->

$8.50 -->

...And then, this in the mail for $300

Hey everybody! It's been a long winter this year and garage sale season is right around the corner! I have had far better luck this winter than last winter when it comes to finding games, maybe cuz now I have a car. Unfortunately I haven't been on to post any photos..

Anyways, had a couple decent finds this week with another in transit.

N64 lot $45
3Ds game $2.99 -->

Hey gamers!  I got an amazing deal at target.  Shortly before Thanksgiving Target had a buy 2 video games get 1 free.  I bought combinations of Pokemon Ruby and Luigi's Mansion, because these games were also already discounted to 28.99.  I then sold these for either 32.99 or 33.99 each on ebay.  I got back $26 for each game I sold.  I got mostly pokemon figuring it would hold up its value better.  I also signed up for a Target card, getting %5 off on a few of these.  29x2=58 58-52=$6 a game.  So I paid about $48 for the 3DS games.  I did open one of the pokemons because the game had gotten loose inside the case.

Nintendo controllers & snes game $3 each and gameboy color $6.  Few notable PS1 games out of another 10 PS1 games and $20 ps2 games or so games I found, PS1 $1.50 each , PS2 $0.75 each

pokemon diamond DS and jungle freeze 3DS $8.00 for both

DS lot-

And I debated putting this in the seller selliness thread!  I was BIN hunting and this guy listed 5 random ds games for $25.  A few of these games were in one of the photos.  He said in the description just tell me what kind of games you like, and I'll try to pick those out for you.  So if you like shooting games, I will try to pick out some games similar to that

So I messaged him and asked him if I could just pick the games from the photos.  I picked 4 out and then said I couldn't even see what the other games are and asked for a list.

Those were the ones I picked out for $25.  He mailed them media mail, ew.  One of the pokemon games wont load it's saved game without freezing.  Will have to look into that.  Some of the games have teethmarks, either by dog or human.  1/4 artwork on the one game.  I already had every one of these games except for one of the pokemon games

Last weekend

I think I got both these on Saturday, only things I got that weekend

$25 -->

$15 -->
And I have to share this story!  I was walking up the driveway and she looks at me says

"You must be looking for N64 games!" lady
"As a matter of fact I am!" me
"You were here last week, right?"
".. Uh yeah.  I came back!" me.  I was not there that past week.
"I'm glad you came back.  I wen't home and went through those games and brought these." lady
"Awesome, thank you so much!  I really appreciate it!" me

We start looking through the games, beetle driving adventure w/ manual 15$, goldeneye w/ manual $15, mortal kombat sub zero $10...

"Uhhhh.... are these the prices?" me
"Yeah I looked them all up on ebay.  Not only that but I called the exchange and they said their selling goldeneye for $20 and I have it for $15 with the manual!" lady
"Mam... to be honest the exchange purposely overprices certain games.  They will even tell you this.  They will say someone will buy them because they don't care or know" me
"Well, I looked it up on ebay and goldeneye is going for $15 actually" lady
"Okay..."  I pulled out my phone just like a stupid reseller and got on my price charting app. "Let me show you the app I use in pricing stuff.  Okay, so sub zero is going for $8, and you have it at $10.... so I guess thats kind of a fair price.  Now if you sell it on ebay, ebay and paypal take %10 in fees altogether, so thats - 1 dollar, and then you have to pay $3.00 for shipping" me. i just really wanted that game for like $3-4
"I'll just mail it media mail" lady.  This surprised me
"Mam, you can only mail books, cds, and records media mail." me
"and games" lady
"No, you cant mail video games media mail" me
"Oh you can't?  Well if I don't sell these games at these prices, I'm putting them up on ebay." lady
f- it!  At this point I started looking up every single game to see if she slipped on her pricing.
"Those two games are going for $30 together, and this one has the manual" lady pointing at the snowboarding games
I'm just like... W T F.  W T F IS GOING ON.  I was upset.  Normally at this point I would have thrown a temper tantrum and stormed off.  "Mam, if that beetle game is $15, I will be really surprised because I already have it." me... "Mam, thats like a $6 game."
"It's cheaper than the exchange" lady.
Out of shock I looked up the last 2 games.  I did this on ebay and I only put in snowboard kids, which had 1 & 2 results, and they were going for about $30 each loose..
"You want $10 for each of those games?..." me
"Yeah" lady
"Can you do.. $15 for both?"
"Yeah!" Lady.
After that I was in a great mood.  I showed her photos of my bookshevles and pickups, she was astonished.  I wished her the best of luck on ebay, hoping that the guy who she thought I was was a reseller comes back and see's they have been cherrypicked and overpriced, and hoping that she would put her games up for auction and make like $20.  I thought I recognized the house, maybe she had a yardsale a month or so earlier, but I definately was not there last week, and I don't remember someone telling me to come back that looked like her.

I served this lady who told me she was having a bad day, then I forgot her god damn ketchup, twice.  She seemed upset at this and I told her that I was sorry and that I was making her day that much worse and she told me that her mom just died.  I hugged her and paid for her meal.  I told her that someone saw that she was upset and paid for it.  She came in again a couple weeks later.  She overheard me talking about garage sailing and she brought these in a couple weeks later and gave them to me for free.  Then she told me she had gameboy games with the box and everything... I have not seen her since. -->

Last weekend I only went to a few sales scored this at one of them for $15-->

A few days ago I get a call from a lady who said I gave her my number back in May.  I met up with her yesterday and she had all these.  She wanted me to see them first, then leave, then we work something out.  She told me she was trying to look them up on ebay.  I gave her my max offer, $150, which she declined.  WTF.  THEN I OFFERED $200 which she reluctantly agreed.  I'm just like... I normally don't pay this much... but she was nice and she called me and everything.  Still not a bad deal but wtf.--->

I picked these up through out the day (Saturday) after having been out all day Thursday (nothing).

Top row $5
Second row $20
Third row $10 (and was told one of the games does not work) --->
