What about people selling snes mulicarts on here with legit US games, how it that ok. Because you can't pass a multicart as a legit cart...Don't see how that is rocket science.

Mario RPG seems to go for about $70, and €30 is only about 20 GBP nowadays... ]]>

Would have expected that rule to be a sticky in the forum or something. Also, threads below appear to offer similar items but aren't reprimanded? Either way, I've removed the once commercially available titles from my list..

Whether you're aware of it or not, making repros of legit games just stimulates the counterfeit/scammer market. Make homebrews or mods, but reproducing games that are/were commercially available is bullshit, and I wish nobody would ever do it again.
From a collectors' standpoint I get what you're saying. Availability of reproductions simply devaluates rare collector items. As a non-collector, this doesn't impair me. To be honest, I personally hate the idea of items that used to be a commodity now changing owner's for over 10x its original price, and not simply because people are dieing to play that amazing rare game, but mostly just to collect it.
But this is NA, and I do respect collectors ideals, so I will never even consider making someone a 100% real looking cart. I always leave at least a slight mark on the cartridge and put a sticky label on the PCB. I do not cater to people asking for my product to appear indistinguishable from the real deal. Instead, I by offering a €30 Super Mario RPG cart I aim to facilitate the gaming desires of the common guy who wants to experience SM RPG without having to invest in a super famicom and 100$+ NTSC-U cartridge. Before you call bullshit on that, please realize that my pricing model absolutely supports this. They are very close to the bill of materials to produce them and you will find no correlation between collecting value and my pricing.
The problem is when your buyers pass them off as real.
Also, you'll notice that those games in other threads should also be homebrews/non region titles only.

If its not made to look like the exact item than there is no problem. Like what is stated in this thread its ppl who pass a repro item as an original if that doesnt happen no problem, and if the person does it then they get in trouble, right?

Honesty is the best policy!
