I was wondering if these are considered prototype, and if not what are they?

I have a copy the original You Don't Know Jack game that is labeled "Sneak Preview Edition". It's in pretty nice shape. I can't get it to run on my Windows 7 PC though because it's from 1995.:

The other item I have is a disc for the game Anarchy Online, which I'm not really familiar with. The disc is labeled "Beta III". When I install and launch the game a NDA (non-disclosure agreement) comes up that you have to click OK on. After that I can't get much further because it can't find the game's servers.
