I can confirm this.  I've picked up several in the last couple of years and always see at least a few (sometimes up to a dozen) on display and running at my local outlets.  I think ~$25 is the most I've ever seen on one, and that was for the Lightning McQueen themed one I picked up my son a few years ago.  They're typically in the $10-15 range around my area, including (enormous, heavy) Trinitrons. ]]>

Goodwill and habitat don't take crt's Anymore. I'm not sure about Salvation Army. It might be regional as well but I know that's how it is here in Florida.
