They switched over from made in japan to made in mexico in jun/july 95.

Titles released after that date, with a very few exceptions, exist only as 'made in mexico.'

assembled in mexico is of course different and refers to majesco reprints circa 97/98 ]]>

I'd take a Castlevania Bloodlines cardboard box over the hard case just because they are more fragile.

I just got a Spongebob Squarepants Video GBA Vol 3 CIB the other day (R8 woot!), and good ol' Majesco made it. They are everywhere these days, the extensive Cooking Mama series, A Boy and His Blob, Guilty Gear, etc. They must be a pretty big company by now. ]]>
