nice job Clay for winning the Sports title this year. I figured you would also post something big. I tried but came up short...

Thanks man, I definitely try to put a little more effort into the categories that I have a shot at winning.

I know you are definitely one of the better sports category players so it always makes for great competition ]]>

I love me some Track & Field button mashing games! I actually got this score earlier this week and then ended up with a nasty blister. Tried to give it another go yesterday but that blister is brutal to play with. I ended up getting through all of the events twice and I pretty much knew that I wouldn't get by the triple jump on the third go around since the qualifying scores get harder each time. Not sure what you have to do to get 17 meters (16m 20 was actually my best and I honestly couldn't tell you what I did differently to even get that) If anyone wants to give it a shot, during my best attempts I tried to have my first jump around 45 degrees and then 60 and then another 60 (give or take a couple degrees). I found that if the 1st angle is anywhere in the 50s you're pretty much done haha

Geez man I just knew you'd come up big this week and you didn't disappoint!

As far as Triple Jump I had the most success right around 40 for each jump. I could get 14m doing that but that's it.

Also, interesting button pressing technique from your other posts. I would have to put bandaids on before trying that way.

Thanks man, I really enjoyed playing Gold Medal Challenge growing up so I knew this one wouldn't be too bad.

As far as the button mashing technique, I actually tried wrapping a t-shirt around them to try and relieve some of the friction haha but it didn't quite work as well as I had hoped. I'll try the bandaids next time aorund

I actually grew to enjoy this. It was fun practicing 2 player and seeing who would advance. I am sure I could beat canoeing, but not archery. I don't think it is possible to hit anything at 90m, we could only power up 3/4 full. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah I usually powered up somewhere between the U and the P and I don't think that was enough to hit at 90m even if you pointed up at 30 degrees. If there's a wind against you forget it! But it's possible to get the power higher by mashing faster, I just couldn't do it.
