The 777 life is wrong (Which I highly doubt).
You miscounted the number of attacks (Sorry. but this is most likely)
The damage from eggs isn't correct. While it shows her\him being hit for 80, it might not take into account some resistance or maybe doesn't even lower her HP at all. Would need to play on an emulator, and find her hit points and put it into a watch function to track it during the fight. I went into the battle with Mario, Bowser, and Peach.

I've seen everywhere that Birdo has 777 HP.

I decided to use the strategy of playing defense and letting the eggs bounce off, attacking the eggs, and doing 80 damage to Birdo each time. I did that strategy at least 15-20 times and she still wouldn't go down. Now, I'm no mathematician, but...15x80 = 1200 which is greater than 777. What the heck is going on!? Does she somehow get more HP when you employ that strategy?

I ended up dying using that stategy and just going back with Mario, Geno, and Peach and just using brute force attacks on Birdo which made quick work of her. But I'm still left wondering WTF happened before... ]]>
