I'd like to get in on this. I have a Powerpak, Power Pad, Dogfood, Ziplocs, Duct Tape, and a Scale.
Feel free to grab the demo rom attached in the first post, ppgames.nes, and give it a whirl. Another member used the demo the other night to actually play a game with some friends. I'm not sure what the rules were, but it sounds like they had a great time!

Teaser bump. Attached a screenshot on the first post. The demo ROM code will be used to create this game! Sorry, I suck at art, but this is just the early stages. Also, still working a what I want my Letters and numbers to look like, I have place holders in for now to speed up the coding process.
I like the white highlight 3d effect.

Tip: try to make the circle symmetrical, count the pixels and make them the same right/left and top/bottom: in pixel art draw (or at least retouch) your shapes by hand, don't rely on messy painting software.
Also, if you still have a last color in your palette, use a darker red in the bottom right part of teh shape can likely enhance that 3d effect.

Just my two cents, not an artist neither.

Glad to see that the idea worked out!

An off-the-wall idea might be to figure out if it functions suspected over the back of a chair, then you can have the types of throwing challenges that you get from a carnival dunking booth, or something to that effect. I was thinking of suggesting every one nail their power pad to the wall. About 8-10 nails should do the trick.

I plan on updating this thread either tomorrow or Wednesday with a version .2 of the ROM, which will only be some clean up in the CHR file and maybe a little more text on the screen. At this point, I will reveal my game plans and take on some suggestions. ]]>
