haha, wow dude. Take a step back. I was doing nothing more than stating that you were incorrect in saying that no one had complained about your numerical scale. I expressed disappointment, didn't feel it necessary to be a jackass and ask for a partial refund or return and moved on.

EDIT: Although I will give you credit in saying that it was your "August" sale thread no one was disappointed in you in. My bad, I didn't realize that.

hahahahahahhahahahahha, THIS is the reason i will never foe jone! no one sticks up for him and everyone bashes him. but he still takes the stance that his shit doesnt stink! love it... i fucking looooooooooooooove iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

And by the way, I sold 550 NES CIBs back in August and rated them all numerically.  Had at least 40 unique buyers, several repeat and guess how many complained of my numerical grading or demanded refunds since I overclassified games?  Zero.  But some sealed guy is going to tell me I'm way off?  Whatever you say bud.

You know I'd usually stay out of the bashing realm on you Joner. You tend to get a long and drawn out butt pounding when one is coming to you. But... since it was brought up. I paid a significant amount more for the 10\10 mach rider in this sale, and it most definitely wasn't what it was stated as No hard feelings as I recall that we talked about it via PM. I just wanted to point that out.

Seriously?  Dude, you expressed concern over the item and I offered you a FULL REFUND if you were not happy, or offered a partial refund in whatever amount you thought you overpaid.  You shrugged it off as no big deal and just expressed a bit of disappointment.

It is statements like this that are why I no longer sell to people on your end of the spectrum.  I'll gladly take less money for a game that I know will go to someone who appreciates it then more money from someone who is going to try and guilt trip me for selling something not as described.

Though for what it's worth, I'll never label ANYTHING as a 10 ever again in a public for sale thread.  9.75+ will the highest rating I ever give publicly even if the item looks like has never even been opened.

Yup, see I just looked back through my old thread. I am more picky now than back then. That Mach Rider is pretty hard pressed to be a 9 even if you ignore the sticker residue. It's got a crease along the top lid, yuck. Hmm, seems like even I've become pickier.

Personally I hesitate to even start adding my opinion to this thread but just based on a quick glance at the pics on this I would say this DK Jr. Math is a 7.  Now I WOULD HAVE TO ADD though that Dk Jr. Math boxes are at a premium and will always be unless a pallet is found some day.  As such a 7/10 CIB copy of this is worth $250+ IMO.  But this is going to get a premium for every copy above a beat to hell copy anyways just because of demand and scarcity.  IMO on this specific title grade, scarcity, price are different subjects yet relatable.  An F2 is going to be expensive no matter the grade of the box.  Just like DK Jr Math is.  However something like Mach Rider is relatively cheap, but if you find a truly 9+/10 CIB copy it SHOULD and WILL sell for a premium.

Sure!  conditional rarity vs. absolute rarity

Actually I thought that Mach Rider was very nice dude.  I graded it a 7.5 or 8 myself back then because the sticker residue came right off with goo gone.  I got a better copy of that one though in the Batty/Braveheart find of the century purchase that I have as my collection copy.

Bronty and Sara's copies are amazing and personally my highest grade I use for anything that isn't sealed is a 9.5/10 because there are always going to be minute surface scratches or a whitening on corners, etc on unsealed copies.  That said personally I would always take a Very nice CIB copy over a craptastic sealed copy.  But if I had the chance between a truly Minty 9.5/10 CIB copy and a 10/10 sealed copy I'd choose the sealed copy, especially because with a 9.5/10 CIB copy I'd never want to risk opening or playing with it anyways for fear of damaging it.
