Ya I don't have a manual either, and like you said there are no high scores to beat. So I feel that completing the gallery is essentially beating the game. Since we are going for best endings in games that have more than one ending (aka the best possible outcome) I would consider this game beat when everything in the Gallery is opened up. I think that is roughly a score of 400 or more on each difficulty on each game. If this sounds fair to everyone than this is what we will go with for this game. A picture of the completed gallery will be highly encouraged to show proof of this game being "beat".

EDIT: After looking at my copy of Game and Watch Gallery again I could be wrong about the 400 score for each game to open up the corresponding gallery.
