This Dracula X label is decent but the picture didnt capture the wear that is present. Based on the few repro labels I have seen, this one looks authentic and nothing is blurred on it - writing or emblems.   ]]>

Nice one. It's hard to find a nice deal, but usually it falls into newbies, bad spelling, or dumb luck of a low bin as they rare if ever slip by anymore. You got two fantastic games there. ]]>

You know the old saying if something is too good to be true it probably is? Anything super Nintendo off of ebay would make me paranoid. I'm extremely cautious of super Nintendo games with mint shinny labels. I'd rather a super Nintendo game have some ware to the label over a mint one. I'm not trying to piss on your parade but that label looks suspect. The color looks a bit off to me when I hold my cart up to the monitor in comparison. It might be because of the camera or my monitor though. Are all of the edges of the writing sharp or is anything blurry? In the photo it looks blurry which may be the camera is out of focus?

I've only received one repro on eBay (Mystical Ninja) and got a return label no issue. Even if the seller put up a fight eBay will have the buyer's back 99% of the time as long as you don't have a suspect history of returns. Not saying it's not possible to get scammed on there as a buyer but I'm expecting to get scammed as a seller sooner than as a buyer.
As a buyer ebay makes me nervous on high dollar snes games. I remember 10 or 12 years ago when there were little or no fakes on ebay and now the site is flooded with them. Last snes game I purchase off of Ebay was Metal Warriors about 4 years ago. Most of my snes games came from ebay before the price skyrocketed. I remember when I searched for Dracula X there were only 3 or 4 copies on ebay at a time. I bought a snes off of ebay and it didn't work when I got it. I got my money back but it was a pain having to go through the process. The seller lied through his teeth that it worked when he shipped it. I bought enough snes games off of ebay that new shinny labels are a red flag. I'm not saying all of them but enough of them to make me not want one with it. Spotting fake chips is easy but labels not so much.

this was an ebay auction starting at 79.99 w/$8(ish) shipping and a best offer option. The title of the auction read "Castlevania IV and Dracula X" which caught my attention right away...there was no SNES or Super Nintendo verbage, condition listed as Good and description read "Game Cartidges only". Seller is new with only 1 feedback when I came across this. Auction was about 6 hours in with 0 bids. The listing only had the 1 picture I'm attaching as reference. I think I searched for Dracula X specifically and that's how I came across it. Any who, I offered a "what the hell" $110+shipping to see what'd happen. Needless to say, he accepted.

I looked at his other listings and he had 6-8 items across various platforms, sega cd, dreamcast, etc. But no other nintendo stuff. Other items seemed fairly common so that set me at ease a little. I was thinking it was likely someone just cleaning out their closet or an attic and not someone trying to unload repros.

I havent tested these yet but both are in pretty good condition, solid labels with some minor indentation lines that are common on SNES game labels. They are good color with no yellowing or differences between front and back of cart halls. I recorded a video of the unboxing and opening of Dracula X cart to make sure it wasnt a repro. I'm happy to report it's legit and I'm pretty excited to add it to my collection. If I sell Castlevania IV for $20-25 locally that means I'll have about $95 into Dracula X which I definitely am not going to complain about. I'm also going to add a board shot of Dracula X to this thread....looks good to me but let me know if you guys see anything suspect! UPDATE: board pic is just a screenshot from the unboxing so it's not a great pic but it should do   ]]>
