Also, great job Santa and all involved on all the work you put in this week. The interviews were great and gave us more insight into the players we love to compete against and respect plus this felt like the big deal and honor that it should be.

Self analyzing here,but I think my lack of wins killed my chances. And I'm not sure how much me and Arnpoly being active hurt our chances. I don't believe that you should have to be retired to get in as that curtails participation and I think everyone would agree that more participation is better.


I think (at least for some) being active was actually something that HELPED your and arnpoly's case.
Other contestants would LOVE to take a shot at a Hall of Famer.

Active Hall of Famers would be a boon for the contests.
That was kind of an aside though.

Active/retirement is not part of the process this year, but that might change for next year.
I just wouldn't want to retire just for the sake of getting in. It's not like sports where you get to a point where you have to retire because you physically can't do it. It's going to be scorched earth this week! Having the fewest wins among the finalists really hurt my chances. Time to start playing harder so I can accrue more wins!
