I recently made a topic discussing this and I am happy to say that our plans for the additional space needed to do a lot more things at our convention has finally come to fruition and now it is party time.
We will be featuring both indie (current gen/pc) and homebrew (old systems obviously) games in what is sure to be a kick ass area. The good news for the people here is that I am personally footing the bill for the tables to showcase homebrew. As I said in my previous post I am a big fan of what goes on around these parts and want to get it in front of as many people as possible. There is no better place to do that than a retro video game convention!
I have a few PMs from people that I have already talked to and I will follow up on. I do not have unlimited space but if you are interested send me a PM or email me at [email protected] and let's see what we can work out. If you can't make it to the expo (and I expect many can not) maybe we can work out a way to showcase your game or partnet with any other devs that will be there.
The date is August 13th, and the place is Hauppauge, NY. Our website is liretro.com, please note that there will be much more event wise added to the site so do not eye roll if it looks a little sparse.
