if i could use the ol FT on a mac, i prob would, growing up on screamtracker, but alas, i'm typing it out. try ppmck and read the "The Ultimate PPMCK Reference and Tutorial" that's floating out there, it gives you all the bells and whistles. ]]>

These are pretty big as MP3's...how large are the NSF versions? I gather that total memory storage requirements are what make the 8-bit music a beast. ]]>

These are done with the basic chipset. I wanted to show the scope and range of the five channel set (really 4 as i don't use the dpcm (E) channel). Here's a current list of songs (as I upload them, I update this post).

level 1 - relentless, driving
level 2 - slow, airy
level 3 - fast and fun
level 4 - dark turn
level 5 - evil, forceful
level 6 - bossa
level 7 - breakbeat
level 8 - Intense
level 9 - creepy, melodic
level 10 - heroic
level 11 - funky
level 12 - triumphant (but in an 80s way)

To clarify: I use ppmck as my compiler, (mml files) and not famitracker (also I don't use the fc chipset). the end files ARE compiled as nsf's, I just converted them to mp3s for browser convenience. As of 3/22 I fixed the bass sound (hits an octave below 0 so now it sounds like a bass drum). Songs are looped to show how it would sound in-game.
