WHat? This game was dumped? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = P

Yep, all thanks to you and the fellow NintendoAge members, Jason .

I would have obviously contributed financially as well, had I known that any of this was even taking place, but hopefully this speed run means something, as it was meant as a thank you.

Which unreleased games are you planning on dumping next? I should be able to contribute next time!

I just saw the speedrun. Nice job !

Thank you, buyatari2, I'm glad that you liked the speed run!

Maybe I'll try a George Foreman's KO Boxing speed run next, but I'd rather just eat a Foreman grilled burger instead hehe.

That's cool of you to share your speedrun quest. Interesting read. I wonder if the programmers meant to penalize you for beating up the guy in the hoverchair with max power. I can see someone thinking that was a good idea to make it tougher for a min/maxer.

Yeah, you could be right, dangevin!

I'll have to go back and point out all of the differences between both games once I get my computer repaired. Fly-Mo is definitely cheaper in this game, as he doesn't even allow Mike any breathing space following a knockdown, he will immediately jump all over Tyson, the ice man's got issues!

I'm FINALLY back and just wanted to let you all know that I managed to record a speed run for Mike Tyson's Intergalactic Power Punch last night and it's already on Youtube, thanks to my friend Gar who uploaded the footage earlier .

Man, was it ever frustrating working on this run, because of the standards I was going by (all first round wins, no knockdowns), but fortunately it all worked out in the end .

The fact that some of the opponents fight differently obviously added to the challenge. I failed to figure out when to use the power punches against every opponent, but it didn't really matter in the end.

Between Power Punch II and this game, I would say that the Power Punch II speed run took a LOT more effort. The main reason for this is that a less than fully powered Mike Tyson does a heck of a lot more damage than a fully powered Mark Tyler, for the most part anyway.

Take Alpha Bonehead/Limey Bonehead for instance. In Power Punch II this fight is extremely glitchy, so a 1st round win isn't always possible, whereas it is a LOT easier to consistently score a first round victory against Bonehead in Intergalactic Power Punch, with plenty of time left over to boot!

Fly-Mo also forced me to change my fight plan, as he does not stay down when hit with the four power punch combo like in Power Punch II.

I noticed that there is a stupid glitch in the game that actually penalizes Mike Tyson for entering the final bout with full training power (his punches will take forever to bring Fly-Mo down)!

As a joke I decided to train but not throw any punches at all and enter the final bout with no training energy and guess what, the punches were WAY stronger than if Mike had been fully powered haha, I couldn't believe it!

So I had to make sure that Mike had less than full power going into that fight, as anything less than full is good for some reason. However, this hurt me in the Final League, as those opponents would have all been beaten with ease.

Anyway, now that the speed run is out of the way (thank God lol!), I will be focusing on updating my Power Punch II FAQ.

Thanks again to everyone who made the release of the prototype possible! I dedicated this run to you all, as well as the main source of inspiration for this game, Mike Tyson of course .
