I played the b/w version of Links Awakening when it first came out and and was surprised how good it was.

I Got the GBC version of Links Awekening because of an extra Dungeon but never got around to playing it so I can't say what the GBC version is like. But being officially in color and having more would only make a great game better.

I don't know, I may not have finished the game, but from what I played, I had less fun than with Link's Awakening... These two are the best IMO, A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. Link's Awakening is a very immersive game, the crown of handheld gaming, but the last 3-4 dungeons from ALTTP are amazing, just wait until you get there.
