Mine would be 1943, my first non mario game, took nearly 20 years for me to put to rest, I think I died like 50 some times on the final level before beating it, last summer, now I can beat it start to finish and pass the TG record almost every time.

Contra was the very first arcade game I ever played so it has a special place in my heart.

Another favorite of mine is Totally Rad. It had that Mega Man style gameplay I loved and was very quirky and weird. Also the dialogue in between levels still makes me laugh to this day.
