I attempted to rush the (first) boss of this level and bomb it to death - and it worked - although before it died it sent a stream of bullets at me that got me. I've practiced this game too much.... So I'm gonna leave it at this.

Lol! Agreed. But when your weapon becomes fully powered up, at least one of the other weapon types becomes viable. But yeah, even reaching that point is tough.

I guess I'll get things started for the week.  Got about halfway through the 5th level and made a careless move that resulted in death.  Once you start memorizing where all the enemies are located, this game isn't too difficult.
