This Rick guy needs to screw his back . His first listing of this game had Mike Etler's name in it . When I asked him if he bought it from him he said yes I bought this directly from Mike . I asked why he's lying about getting it from Etler and he denied ever saying that to me so I sent him the message he sent me saying yes I bought it directly from Mike . As you can imagine i havent had a responce back . Lying sack of shit he is lol
Definitely proven about that. Mike Etler can 100% verify he sold the game to me.

Whatever, the food was the shit today as we talked about your repro. Congrats mate, your reproduction made it into lunchtime banter. not trying to revive the derp thread, but it was enlightening as I got to personally learn the history of this game and where the proto came from. Thanks man!

In other news, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, who's hype? GET HYPE. ]]>

Good lord, this thread sure derailed overnight. You guys take your back and forth BS to PMs, this thread has outlived it's usefulness.
We were only trying help the guy understand that his copy was not a prototype and why it wasn't..

I appologize for the derailment. I'm glad that BA and Dream decided to put there 2 cents in. Thanks guys.

I'm just going to report this if I see it on eBay as a proto again. ]]>

I have no doubt all of your other stuff is real. The Game Boy proto is real, etc. The NES Pyramids you acquired was 100% made by a friend and it has his handwriting for goodness sake, and I specifically made the SAME label on it. We weren't trying to fool anyone, and the board was proof especially when we listed it. If you read this thread through a few years ago it was posted about this as well but unfortunately this game came through my hands and there is nothing that can be said to make it "real" when I basically made part of it and had the rest made. ]]>

I just want some more proof that it is not. I already know people make repros and have seen several. My cart label looks just like the one posted on nintendoage. Same old tape over matchbox. I retaped it on.
Because I made the label. I had someone MAKE the board and my friend's HANDWRITING are on the EPROMS.

It doesn't matter "where you got it" and have "had it for awhile" because I was the one who sold it on eBay, a guy in Iowa won it, he sold it, and now you have it for whatever reason.

I sold the game not as a proto, but as a repro; "not a prototype" in the description.

There is nothing else that can be said on the matter, the game was mine at one time and it was MADE and RECREATED, the board was the dead giveaway because I knew someone would think the label was "real" but I MADE THE LABEL, lol....

Here is the board for the real prototype:

And just for clarification, daillest said he bought Dream's Scarabeus proto, not the Pyramids of Ra.  I believe they are the same game, but they are not the same actual prototype.
