I have a bike store in Los Angeles called Coco's Variety that sells new and used bicycles. I am lifelong collector, garage saler, swapmeeter, picker and seller. I am 48, so my videogame interests skew a bit older than NES. I was obsessed with videogames as a kid and had 2600, 5200, Vectrex and Colecovision. My particular interest was really arcade games as it was the golden era of stand-up arcade games - Williams games, Tempest, et al.

I am constantly out looking for bikes and the other items that I collect, buy and sell. My complete want list is here, though it is a little out of date.

What brings me to the NintendoAge forums?

Generally - I have collector/dealer friends that buy and sell Nintendo and realized I should at least know what the rarest games are so I can grab them if I stumble across them.

Specifically - I recently bought a Nintendo M-8 in store kiosk/demo unit. Frankly, I have never heard of it but came across one and it seemed so specific/unusual that I should seize the opportunity. It wasn't twenty bucks, I paid real money for it. I was thinking I would keep as an investment as it feels like something that rare would be a good long term hold, but I have decided I need to cut it loose. I have been on a buying binge recently and I need to reverse the flow of money.

The M-8 is for sale on my site here. I am going to go post a link to it in the FS section.

Please let me know if I am not following forum accepted practices. Also, I am interested if I have left anything out or made any errors in my listing of the M8, though that discussion is probably better suited for the FS forum. ]]>
