Maybe Machinarium? Other recommendations? If you like Metroidvania, Guacamelee is one of the best examples of it.  It is a fantastic game.  And I love Resogun too.  It is a take on a Defender style game.  It is a blast.

Other games I'd recommend:

I haven't played it yet, but I recommend at least checking out a trailer or review of Trine 2.
