Game B on the other hand is boring, with the professor sleep walking from one side of the screen to the other, you have no control over him at all, he walks to the right only, climbs up ropes when he comes to them, both of those actions are automatic, all you can do is control the pistons with the 2nd controller, using them to guide him where you need him to go, take the wrong way and he'll either get stuck or killed, sometimes there are multiple routes off screen to the next but it really don't do anything for the gameplay. What I hate about this game mode, waiting, takes so long for him to sleep walk his way through each screen, even worst is that when he climbs ropes, he will climb all the way to the top before jumping off, even climbs ropes when there's no need to, at best it gives you plenty of time to think, though I do see you needing to put that much thought into this one. Thankfully Game B is much shorter than Game A, Game A has 40 phases, Game B only 25, but with Game B you cannot phase select, if you lose you have to start all over again from the beginning, though neither game is that hard that after no more than a few tries you should easily be able to beat them both without losing no more than a few lives. Anyway, even though I didn't have fun with Game B mode, I still think this mode is a nice little diversion from the standard puzzle mode. I beat Game A twice today, the first time using two continues having 12 deaths, the second time only 4 deaths without continuing, and beat Game B once with 2 deaths.

Game A - Phase 40 (about to grab the last bomb and finish the game, after that the game loops back to phase 1, no ending, nothing)

Game A - Score 393.420, beat it with 4 deaths (Snapped off a pic too late after the score added up upon clearing phase 40, but thankfully was able to get the pic at the start of phase 1 when the game began again. I ended up playing up to phase 15 again before losing my last life, had a score in excess of 500000 but wasn't able to get the pic in time, and there's no high score table or anything like that so I missed it, no big deal, I was just playing it to beat it anyway.)

Game B - Score 29.120, beat it with 2 deaths (since I was only holding the 2nd controller for this mode it took me a few seconds to figure out why I couldn't pause the game to take the pic right away, too bad I didn't remember how many levels this game had until after I cleared phase 25 otherwise I could've been more ready, eh, no big deal)

1st death - Paint Roller (2nd world boss)
2nd death - beetle miniboss (level 3-2)
3rd death - knocked off a cloud (level 4-1)
4th death - accidentally tornado spun myself into a pit (level 4-2)
5th death - Cracko (4th world boss), died by falling down the vertical scrolling screen before you actually fight the boss
6th & 7th deaths - accidentally sucked a block that I was standing on, fell to my death with a full mouth (level 5-3), can't believe I did this twice in a row
8th death - lion miniboss (level 5-5)
9th death - fell off of ship (level 6-3), thought I was safe to drop down, oops
10th death - killed by a fish (level 6-4), keep forgetting that Kirby can't use certain powers underwater
11th death - blown up by bomb enemy (level 6-2), I hate this cheap ass enemy
12th death - jumped on an enemy (level 6-3), dumb ass, pay attention, this ain't Super Mario Bros.!
13th death - burned and knocked into pit by dashing fire enemy (level 6-1)
14th death - turtle miniboss (level 7-2), I accidentally walked into it after I defeated it
15th death - King Dedede (7th world boss)
16th & 17th deaths - Nightmare Orb (final boss phase 1), didn't realize that if you don't beat it quick enough you get killed by the scrolling screen
18th, 19th and 20th deaths - Nightmare (final boss phase 2), damn slow motion was causing problems for me

Ending pics (too bad I could snap off a shot of the last boss, but I wasn't about to lose again just to get a pic)

Faxandu - Pretty good game. I really enjoy action/rpg games like this. It could have been much longer though, more levels to gain, and more armor. If you know what your doing you can probably breeze through this game in a few hours tops. ]]>
