I saw one of those back in the late 90's I think. I thought it was bad ass. I dont know if they have any value. I am sure eventually they will.

I saw a Nintendo 64 controller in the hotel I stayed at this week. Well it looked like the N64 controller but it had a lodgenet (sp) sticker on it and it hooked into a phone outlet behind the TV. I assume you used it to play games you ordered through the TV. It had nintendo on the front of it and was black. It was marked 1998 and like I said was similar but slightly larger than the N64 controller. I thought about taking it and paying the 29.99 charge but decided against it. Anyone have one and is there any collector value in those. I have to imagine it's not something most peopel will collect and eventually will be tossed out when the hotel decides it's not profitable. I wonder what they look packaged. Has anyone seen one of these?

Let's see.....

Black, grey, atomic purple, extreme green
Not sure how many colored ones there are (red, green, blue, etc)
6 funtastic (grape purple, watermelon red, jungle green, ice? blue/teal, smoke grey, and fire? orange)
gold, DK banana special, NP 100 special, Pokemon special, Plus a couple other specials I can't remember. I think that's the bulk of it.

Shows how little I know.I thought they all had fancy names except grey and gold.

And they're all worth about the same. Gold would be the most expensive, then extreme green, but all of the rest are basically interchangeable.

Yea only the see through controllers had awesome names. The limited controllers also had specific names.

atomic purple. black, grey, yellow, green, red, blue, and then you have extreme green, and gold.

Atomic Purple is the purple one. Not sure of the rest.

I know nothing about N64 but I have this box full of colored controllers I need to get rid of.
I'm sure there is an N64 guy here who knows the names for these funky colors to help me look up prices. (Or if someone knows the going rate, that'd be great)
Assuming they are all in good working order. Yes I know the 1 is for a Virtual Boy.
