However, the controller I received is crap. It is way too difficult to get the pair to sync up and it's guaranteed to lose sync within a few minutes of play.
Anybody have a set of these that work fine? I'm hoping I just got a bad set and this mod was not a waste of time...

I have the SNES controllers, some don't like the "circle pad", but I've found it to be an exellent controller. They had a total of 4 channels which made wireless bomberman a possibility.

I don't know the tech behind them, but it's not anything like the '80s wireless crap, these pads are easily as good as a wavebird. (even better, since they have turbo, slow, and turn off automatically after a 10 or so minutes of no activety) ]]>
