Mega Man X series on SNES (Mega Man X2 being often considered the best)

The fuck are you talking about? It's X3 that's the popular one.

Um..X3 is often considered the worst. I was wrong it is actually the first X that most consider the best but they probably went down in quality over time. X3 is the most expensive and all but its not often considered better than the first X.
Really? X3 is considered the worst? I love X3. I thought X2 was considered the worst, even though I love that one too. But X1 is definitely the most popular, no question.

Oddly enough I actually agree with you one this. I have a feeling we're the only two people that can verify this. Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3 wasn't very good though.

This may be cheating since the best of the series is on the next gen console, but I'd say Contra. The first was great, Super C wasn't a step backward, but didn't really do anything new except for the overhead levels, so those are about the same, but Contra III is definatly the best in the series imo

Hard Corps > Contra 3
Now would be a good time to mention ive never played hard corps

Killer Instinct 2 > Killer Instinct (Arcade)

This ones debatable. I know when it came out most of my friends liked 1 vs 2, but I was a fan of the second. But now adays I play the first one more often than the second.

DBZ Legacy of Goku 2> DBZ Legacy of Goku (gab)
Pokemon silver>pokemon red (GB/GBC)
Mario luigi partners in time>mario luigi super star sega (GBA/DS)

Mother 2(earthbound)>mother 1 (nes/snes)
dino crisis 2>dino crisis 1
Final Fantasy 2>Final Fantasy 1 (nes/snes)
Gears of war 2>gears of war

It's much easier to improve the sequel to a game, then a movie in my opinion. Although some movies have done it Terminator 2 <3 ]]>

Hard Corps > Contra 3
I could never pick one over the other. Both are masterpieces in my eyes .

It's very easy to do for me. Hard corps has so much replayability due to branching paths in the story. The music is amazing and it's just a much more polished game than Contra 3 was IMO.

Same goes for Bloodlines > Super castlevania 4. Genesis got the best versions of beloved Nintendo games in my eyes.

Great reasons in regards to Hard Corps. Bloodlines was great, but the control felt way too stiff compared to Super CV IV IMO. I'm with AVGN on this one; the eight-way whip is where it's at!
