Damn! I'm shocked that went for $105.

im not shocked at all. People need to realize condition doesnt matter to everyone. I sold my decent looking copy for 120 plus shipping last year in about 2 hours. The game is popular. Some people just want the game.

Ok, forget that idea. I tried. It works, but the cart gets more glossy. Might work better if I used some more time. Definitively works though, but blank plastics are easier to work with.

How much heat?  I'm tempted to test this on some crappy carts.  Any helpful tips?

Well, a blue flame is needed. I have a handheld torch from dealextreme I use for shining my pinball ramps. On a NES cart you need to use much more time doing it than on clear plastics it seems, or else it will be too glossy. Keep a VERY safe distance if you go over it slow, nearer if you do it fast. You have to try for yourself, but nes carts wasn't the easiest to work with
