That's laughable, and would guarantee they get caught and prosecuted for more than just hacking a website.


Anyway, I saw a hilarious web comic the other day that pointed out the fact that "hackers" taking down a website is the digital equivalent of just tearing down a propaganda poster.  It's not that big of a deal, in the greater scheme of things.  And it's worlds different than actually doing something serious like compromising credit card systems or bank accounts.
