You choose a song for the other person. If they fail the song, they take 2 shots (or sips, whatever). If my ex would get over 90% on medium, I would drink, otherwise she would drink. If I got lower than 98% on Expert, I would drink and if I got 98% or higher, she drank. If you 100% a song, the other person takes 2 shots.

down here in kentucky its played a little differently:

do a multiplayer race(or 2 player if on snes)
as soon as it says go you have two objects: finish a can of beer and cross the line first
rule 1: cant open the beer until it says go
rule 2: the beer cant be in your hand at the same time the controller is 
rule 3: last place gives up the sticks(controller)

you are allowed to hit a turbo boost, throw the controller, drink and pick it back up though!
