I managed to beat the game once, but I stupidly died in my second run in the 3rd stage against those mutant frogs.

You millions pointers really got this game in your blood.

That's it for me tonight. I am too drunk to make past the plataforming part at stage 2.
I am actually surprised that I made it to stage 2. ]]>

Good to see more people are playing this one.

Agreed.  Very underrated game in my opinion and not hard to find at most gaming places.  It's always been one of my favorites.

Maybe I am like Soda Popinski and drink to prepare for a fight. ]]>

I thought I'd jump in and give this a go.  I don't think I'll be beating acomicbookguyc's 4mil, but I'm going to keep at it for a bit.

After 18 grueling hours of non stop gameplay my NES started to give out on me again. The graphics started to glitch so I took the picture of my score(below). It wasn't bad so I continued to play and after playing for about 10 minutes the graphics glitched again and my console just turned off. The NES doesn't even turn on anymore. I'm assuming the fuse blew out but I know nothing about repair so I'll be buying another NES this week =( I was at my 16th attempt when it started to mess up. I beat the game 15 times in a row without dying. I knew I could have easily gone another 5 loops without a problem. So here is my final score.

HIGH SCORE = 4,638,600

Awesome! I knew you could do it. Not only passed my score, but totally whomped it!

As I said, I probably wouldn't have given it any more tries after I got the score I did, I wanted to but I didn't, as it was one time getting as far as I did was enough, can't image going through the game twice that many times or more. I was also too busy with other things, my lastest cross-stitch, and a new possible addiction, auctions (been hanging out on ebay a lot), won me a few...will be getting me some NES games very soon, but still gotta get me a system to play them on, will think about that later (gotta sell some more of my other things so I don't run out of money).
