I got my copy of GTA V signed by Isiah Whitlock Jr.

He had a small voice role in the game. ]]>

Anyway, the reason I'm posting today is because I got my xBox copy of Tony Hawk's Underground signed by Ryan Clements when I was at X-Games.

Ryan used to be an employee at the Skate Park of Tampa, back when the game was being made (I think he worked there until 2013). Among various other duties, he was the contest announcer for SPoT, and because of this, they put him in the game. We actually talked about the game for a bit, he said that the skatepark was made with a lot of detail and very accurate to the way it was in 2003. He even said that they got the cobwebs in the park correct, haha.

I'll get a pic up sometime this week. ]]>

Anyway, I whittled my collection down some and got some trade credit. About $40 worth and I used $8 or so.

Defender - Gamecube

I forgot about 8-bit Xmas, thankfully the fine folks at RetroUSB keep orders open through today. Phew! ]]>

Ratchet & Clank Size Matters PSP $2
Metroid Prime Hunters First Hunt (in Mario Kart DS Case w/MK Manual) $1
Pokemon Card Tin $3
Old die-cast $3.50

I walked into GW and found an entire row of UMD Movies. I've never seen so many before. At $2 each, I might pick some up. The MKDS was a nice find, I'm surprised I was the first to get to it. The case is Mint, so I just need the game. ]]>

Battlefield Hardline
Bloodbourne

I know Hardline sucks, but it was $8. Tough to beat for a current Gen game.

Will be going back after work tomorrow to rummage through the scraps of the scraps. I doubt I'll buy anything, maybe if that copy of Doom is still there. ]]>

Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered
Injustice Gods Among Us

Both for the PS4

I'm not a huge fan of Wal-Mart's game offerings on Black Friday, but I always love the sub-$10 category. Great way to pick up cheap current-gen games. ]]>

I'll get the boring crap out of the way first:

360:

Forza 2
PGA Tour 13

Vita:

Shovel Knight

I don't really know a whole lot about this release. Yacht Club worked with Fangamer to release this in a physical version, and it's supposedly limited (although I haven't seen any print run numbers). I preordered it shortly after it was announced, but completely forgot about it since then. I don't really have much of a use for this thing, I don't have a Vita and I have no reason to play it on my PStv. I'm debating whether or not to open it. ]]>

-Rory McIlroy PS4 $10

It's an expensive game, in fact I could get more for it from Gamestop (cash) than what I paid for it. I think they sell their used copies for $40. It's odd because I'm not sure if employees are allowed to sell their own items at a thrift store, but whatever. I'm not here to judge. ]]>

xBox:
-Destroy All Humans $2
-MechAssault 2 Lone Wolf (Regular Edition) $2
-Conflict Desert Storm II: Back to Baghdad $1

N64:

PS4:

-Resident Evil 5 $12.50 (trade credit)

Comics:
-The Adventures of Superman from 1994 ($2)
-Batman Legends of the Dark Knight Feb 1998 ($3)

Notes:
-Achieved $35 in trade credit at the retro shop. They wouldn't let me actually pay for my games (bummer).
-Swingerz was a game I saw advertised as a kid and I've always wanted to check it out. Unfortunately, it has a tear in the cover art, but it's a cheap enough game. I'll re-trade it when I find a better copy.
-Need all xBox titles except for DAH, this copy had a manual (which I didn't have previously).
-Not a comics guy, but showed my buddy a comics shop. Superman is from the month I was born, and the Batman just looked cool.
-In addition to the fun, I also sought out an old punk rock/hardcore club that hosted some mega bands before they were famous. Many of these bands are from California, but made their way to rural-ish Minnesota. The building is now empty, possibly abandonded. Makes me wonder what other hidden treasures are out there. Neato! ]]>
