And I'm glad you haven't had any issues with skipping, but I know when I bought a 180 gram new release and attempted to play it the tonearm was using so much force that the needle would slide around. I assumed the record I bought was defective, but when I upgraded to my better turntable soon afterward it played flawlessly. Proper and balanced tracking force can make all the difference. ]]>

Records without sleeves....You trying to make me go crazy dude?

Honestly I'll hardly ever buy a used LP anymore if it doesn't still have the shrinkwrap intact, and I'm pretty meticulous about opening new ones. 45s I can be hit or miss, I certainly have a few that are just sitting naked in a stack, and then others I treat like rare treasures
I hardly ever buy new but I recently bought the Capital Vault version of Megadeth's Rust in Piece because it's the original recording and not a reissue/remaster.

Was cutting the shrink open and cut riiiiiiiiiight into the fuckin inner sleever, hardly but still.

First screw up I've had so far....I'll post a picture of my setup when I get home from work.
