The PowerPak uses a Compact Flash card, not an SD card, so make sure you have the right card reader to do the job.

But yes, it's very simple. Once you have your card plugged into your PC you can just copy paste the game file into the folder where the other game ROMs are, then you're good to go.
 
Right. I have a CF card reader and a MacBook pro however. Do I need a pc?
