from the actual hardware - capture card. You can get cheap USB ones (BA had linked me to the EasyCap for like, $10 a few years back, and it works pretty well for the most part). You can even get a non HD one like a dazzle which are probably really cheap these days. I bought one 4 or 5 years ago for $50 brand new. Lol an original nes controller. When I want to run and slash jump quickly I sort of slide my thumb across the B A buttons. Definitely the easiest way if you don't mind playing on an emulator instead of real hardware.

Otherwise you have to use a camera to record your TV while you're playing, or use a USB video capture device.

The other day I ordered a tripod from Amazon that is compatible with tablets so that I can aim it at the TV better. I'll see how that works.
