Thanks to the tracking number we now have it can easly show if the package has been sent. Also seeing i was willing to post photo of the item in its package to show that i am a trust worthy seller. The main reason why i started with lower end items i wanted to build up my feedback before posting my more costly items.

The way i sell is once i post an item i put it in its package and have it ready to ship.

I think a lot of people are so used to gifting that they don't think about doing a normal paypal transaction.

Regardless of your opinion of common sense, I think it's quite obvious why 10 feedback isn't pulled out of thin air. It's to not only protect us from not just losing money but the headache of dealing with the issue of having to fight to get it back. It shows that people have some experience with buying/selling on the site and know how things work around here. It's to prevent train wrecks like this, which could have easily been avoided by following the rules and coming to know how NA and it's community operates.

The 10 feedback number is just arbitrary and pulled out of thin air. What if this guy had 9 feedback, would everyone still be citing the FAQ just because they can? If you don't trust someone then don't bid, no need to derail the thread and give them a lecture if you don't plan on bidding anyway.

Also, comments like this: "It's not a big deal and no one here is going to scam you." are quite misleading, especially coming from someone with a HOS icon. There's a ton of slow shippers on this site, and a couple of people above 100+ feedback that are in, or were in the HOS at some point. If they are slow shippers, how do you know they won't be slow payers too? You know, they get the item, then give you BS excuses about how they can't pay today. Some of my favorites like "I don't get paid until next week" or "I'm waiting for a payment so I can then pay you" or "I plan on listing some games tomorrow, then I'll pay you" etc.

I'm sure my opinions won't affect the FAQ at all, but this site is very unfriendly towards 0 feedback users. I understand we want to protect the community, but the "0 feedback needs to ship first" is a rule that should only apply to expensive items, and it should be at the discretion of the buyer. I wanted to test the waters here .

I want to restart the auction but if people drop out last min it wont be fair for me the seller.

I understand. What why the rule is in place but a confirmation. Code and photo should be enough.

Am just saying. I said before am ok with the rule. I just wish people would give me a break and let me aution off my stuff with out thinking am here to screw people.

No need to take it personal. No one was suspecting or accusing you of anything at all, we are only watching out for ourselves and each other. Normally if you can provide some type of reference, like an eBay account or maybe another forum account that has a feedback system, most people wouldn't have a problem with sending payment first. Unfortunately you have yet to provide any reference. Facebook is not a reference, sorry.

And I am not at all suggesting anything, but I don't think a cell phone number really counts for anything either. I can go to most convince stores or even walmart and buy a prepaid phone for $10 or so, and have a new cell number in a few secs.

No need to go so far out of your way to prove how you are not trying to scam anyone. Just offer to send first for established users, and you will be good to go
