I have a CPU-02 with an unresponsive mainboard and an LCD board full of dead lines. A CPU-06 that works beautifully, can't say the display is any better or worse than I remember it all those years ago. Lastly a yellow PlayItLoud which is CPU-08. The LCD itself doesn't seem a whole lot different but I think the surrounding yellow plastic affects my perception of the screen (that being worse than normal).

What are the findings of others? (also I didn't know where to put a thread like this. If it needs moving, go ahead) ]]>
