I'm glad these are finally a reality. I'm just not sure that I will invest in them myself. I switched my Saturn and Sega CD games over to DVD a long time ago, and at this point, I don't think I'm going to change back.

Anyhow, the jewel case doesn't really need to be original. It has no artistic value. I do agree that cd's, manuals, brochures etc should ALWAYS be original.

Even if you insist that jewel cases should be original, technically speaking, a donor jewel case stolen from another game isn't original. If you study the little numbers that are printed on the plastic, you'll find that different games have different little numbers printed on the jewel cases. I remember LRG said their remake longbox cases wouldn't have the CD logo on the tray because someone had the rights to that. Looks like these cases don't care about such details based on the picture. The manufacturer said he had a run of 10000 made on GameFAQ. Other projects to make remake cases were around the $10/case mark, so seeing these for $4 shipped out of nowhere is pretty surprising. If you don't want them, now you know to look out for them   ]]>
