I dunno, I'm pretty blah on it right now. ]]>

Also, I'm still not getting the issues people are having with the Ghirahim battles. I was able to beat all 3 instances without any potions or any strange procedures/ exploits. It mainly comes down to effective blocking, attacking when he teleports, and bouncing the projectiles back in time. Occasionally you can slip a random swing in, but it rarely works. Compared to the other bosses, he takes a lot of patience to beat, as the natural instinct is to flail the controls in a flurry of sword swings.

Also about to start the 3rd temple, and I've had to consult an online guide two or three times I think. Always dumb stuff where I get tired of being stumped for 5 minutes and want to move along. Example: Making the eye dizzy in the first temple... that never occured to me. I mean it did, but apparently I didn't wave around the sword long enough to make it happen on my own. ]]>

Totally freestyling this.  Well, mostly.  It's not as much fun for me if I don't figure the stuff out on my own.  I only go to a guide if I'm absolutely stuck, and so far that hasn't happened.  I will probably use a guide later on in the game to find some pieces of heart, but as for the critical path I usually try to do that all on my own.

This is where I'm going with it so far.  I've got I think 2 adv pouches, no seed upgrades I think, and I have 6 heart pieces picked up so far.  Only guide usage was in rare spots I just got stupid and stumped on what to do and fed up running in circles, but for the great part of it it has been honest so far.

EDIT:  WOW, the game just crashed on me so damn hard I could only pull the plug to turn off the Wii.  Home was down, anything off the controller, power failed, oddly eject worked and took the disc again but that's it.

I'm in the Lanaryu Desert/Mines area.  I was just starting to douse for these 3 items and the closest one is just south I think of the start point for finding in a cave with snail things.  I hit this item to change from dead to alive, and as the snail thing turned into some little rock or some junk it froze in the animation of that.  I'm glad I saved it just outside or I'd be po'd, but still, come on Nintendo, really?
