Neat! One more question - is it 100% complete, or is it X%?

Sorry I thought I added the link to the original sales thread. http://vintage.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=6&threadid=130706

When I played through I had the issue of the game getting stuck in the same animation loop on what I believe is the last stage. I'm not sure if there is a way past it. ]]>

What's the story with Whirlo? Is it a repro/unreleased/unreleased in this territory type thing, or is it a homebrew?

Unreleased here. From the original sales thread...

Whirlo--Super Nintendo, cartridge only (NTSC)

This game, unreleased in this region, is a challenging (hard) platformer with a fun story, great music, and plenty of game play. There is but one prototype that has surfaced, making this the only NTSC build that is out there as far as I know. It has not been dumped and is not available online (I am having it dumped for this release). This release of hand-numbered cartridges is currently the only way I know of for you to play the true NTSC version of this game.

7/27 Update

The game was successfully dumped! A huge thank-you to the Nolan brothers for being awesome as always and preserving yet another game.
