A friend of mine recently got a Retron 5 as a gift. I told him it wouldn't play the home-brew games I wrote (TGUN, Dragon Leap, Dragon Feet). However, when we tried it the games did play. It loads the game, does not recognize the title, then pops up a warning screen that basically says 'do you still want to play?', and if you pick "yes" the game plays. These are all NROM games. Didn't have any other home-brews to try out. Is this a new feature they added or has it always been there? Always been there.  I get the same message with some prototypes and they work typically

I got a repro hack of Super Metroid Redesign.  It glitches out on a standard SNES near the beginning but it works like a champ on my Retron 5.... That's because the ROM wasn't tested properly on real hardware. Retron5 is for all purposes and intents, an emulator. I have a Ballz 3D cart that I removed the DSP1b chip from, and it crashes after the loading screen on a real SNES.
