Honestly, it's been probably at least a year since I've played the NES version so I don't know if it's 100% the same... but I believe the NES version is pretty much an exact clone of the arcade version.  I also have Arkanoid 2 that I can swap into that cabinet but I don't like the 2nd Ark as much as the 1st.

How far have you gotten in this game?? There are 35 levels, it's totally ridiculous!
