It didnt have the desired effect (Joe from Gamesack even joined in?) and that was the end of that. It was Billy.  Unfortunate too because he could be a valuable contributor.

Honestly, I think it seems like there's a lot more friction between the primaries during any content they put out these days.  Jay seems to have the most free time and be the loosest of the bunch, Melvor seems to have picked up a family and enough responsibility so as to limit his time incredibly, Billy seems to be more interested in the movie and random side projects (music videos, animations, etc.) than the original show(s), and Dodongo has been totally absent (including mentions) for about a year.  Maybe it's just me reading between the lines, but during non-individual videos like the "What People Sent Us" videos on Jay's channel, it seems like there's a lot more tension between everybody than there was in the past.  I can see this coming from there not being nearly as much to do that's directly tied to the channel, but if you look at what each person is doing, I think it's possible to read between the lines and potentially see everybody growing a bit apart due to their interests and primary focuses changing. It makes sense I mean they have been doing videos for a long time based around gaming. They may be burnt out and looking for new avenues to get into. I remember the early episodes where they were begging someone to film like I’ll do it!! Jay’s cousin, Chris I think his name is ended up being a likable character for me just seeing how he really took the time to buy games he really cared about and getting that NES display cabinet was so huge for him.
