30 was going to be the number until I realized I had taken more orders than that many carts, so to be fair I made it the almighty double digit 33.

As for the number made...I agree 50 isn't a bad number, but the number is up to who ever makes them, be that 10, 33, 50, etc. There's probably more than 50 that would want an LE, but as I said, if you fill the demand with the LE, there's no one to support a general release. Look at the Towers of Radia reproduction, it had like 50 LE and I think 3 non-numbered. People even bought multiple numbered. Sivak kinda started on this 33 kick with Geminim and that just seems to be his number.

limiteds are for the crazy collectors like myself

I think the point is that there are more than 31 collectors on this board who would love to have an LE.

The same people end up getting them all the time, and it's beyond annoying.

That said, looks like I missed out on another LE, again...

If you make as many as people want, then it 's not a LE anymore, and there would be no one to buy the general. I don't think you missed it yet as Sivak hasn't even announced if he was going to make a LE or not yet.

Dude, I'm not going to make a big deal about this, but there's a big difference between making 31, and say 50, and allowing only one per person.

There are over 600 people on this forum, and although not all are "crazy collectors", I'm pretty sure there are more than 30 - all who would consider themselves as "crazy" as you.

Help the community in your backyard, and make the regular release for the rest of the world.

Your logic is faulty in that "If you make...then it's not a LE anymore".  A limited edition is still limited, as long as the run is shorter than the regular edition.

Sorry if this seems like a rant, but it's just my opinion.  There are a certain core group of folks here who always end up getting everything, and the rest must not be "crazy collectors".

I said it somewhere...  but not here!  When the time comes, all will know, some will receive.  The LE box is gonna be this color this time within a blue cart.

Geminim LE was sold to whoever paid first, right? I don't see how the same people would get the Siamond LE's if this same format was followed.

No.  All I basically did was take a simple survey of who is interested and the first folks to post were the ones who got it.  I didn't want to force payment collection on anyone as I can understand it may take time to get funds up.  Nobody cancelled, so all reserved members got their copy.

Regarding differences for Geminims:  The only real difference in both games is the cart shell is white instead of green, the label obviously has the LE box removed.  The version number is 1.000 instead of 1.000+.  The standard version does not have the easter egg nor an LE notice on the title screen.  The standard version has a compile date on the title screen in place of it.  Everything else is the same.

It will probably be a similar scenario with Siamond.  I would need to code in an easter egg though.
