Heard about NintendoAge on YouTube and when I joined, it turned out I was actually a member of three forums; YAY! As I'm more of a Sony fan overall, though I play a little of everything, I thought I'd introduce myself here first off.

Well... Hi. I'm a 28 year old gamer, started out as a SEGA kid but I've since moved to almost every platform going. I currently own a PS3, PSVita, Wii U, 3DS, Dreamcast, and an original Xbox; all of which are set up and used at least semi-regularly (ie. every 1-2 months at least). I do have an Xbox 360, PS2, Sega Saturn, GameCube and PSP as well but they're all currently in storage. I used to also have a gaming PC, but it died quite spectacularly. In fact the PSU literally exploded and the thing caught fire. I have bad luck with PCs. I'm currently using my Wii U to access this website, (by far the best console for using the internet, perfect tablet-like browser). My favourite genres include both 2D & 3D Platformers, Beat-em-up/3D Brawlers, J-RPGs, Arcade Racing, and Turn Based or World Builder Strategy games but it varies greatly depending on my mood. Outside of video games I like pen and paper roleplaying, sci-fi and serial drama TV shows, horror films, synthpop and metal music, and swimming.
 
A little extra about me; I'm an out-of-work Forensic Analyst. Studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Forensics at three different universities/colleges; guess I just like the student lifestyle. I have however been declared unfit for work and I'm now on disability as I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and various other issues that cause muscle and bone degradation amongst other thing. My condition is now terminal as my heart is expected to give out within 10 years. I have limited use of my left arm, can't walk, and suffer chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and seizures. Obviously gaming is a massive help for me as escapism, and the internet is a good way for me to casually socialise; which I struggle to do IRL. With that I hope to get to know the regulars in this forum in time and I look forward to discussing games and more with you all.
