Agreed. They keep adding stupid mega evolutions instead of new Pokedex entry pokemon. Each mega still involves lots of Sprite and animation development, but they don't get their own Pokedex entry. As long as megas continue to be a thing, we won't see 150 new Pokemon for a while.
My hope is since thia is kinda a big deal for the pokemon company to be coming to a home console. Maybe they will pull out all the stops and push to make that 1000 mark. I mean they have to do something crazy so im hoping that will be in the cards. Even if it is unrealistic

Totally surprised whoever originally owned it even got hold of it, if this is indeed one of the carts that were for demo play in 1997. I hope this gives a chance for many other holy grails to come out sooner or later.

I wonder if gamefreak will incorporate some of these scratched designs in future games now that this beta has arisen. Also, there are color sprites and names which are cool.
