If you don't know Star Ocean 2 was released in the US on the PS1. This is the sequel to that game... which is on the gameboy color! It's probably the biggest gameboy game on the system too, which I guess makes it harder to work with when hacking and such. Also I believe it was never released outside Japan, because the cartridges were expensive to make due to the games size.
