not sure if this a known thing already, but atleast for me(Firefox 34) there is a bug in the tracking in Collections.
After trying to enable tracking(click on the "?"-Icon for like "Ins", "Box" or "Cart" likely too, there is a JavaScript error thrown which prevents enabling the tracking.
After the Ajax-Request there is a JavaScript returned with just a plain JavaScript String without a function or variable:
} else {
  '<blink>connecting...</blink>'
}

which of course triggers a syntax error.

Happened to me since i wanted to enable the tracking for a few items of mine again.
