Not sure how familiar you are with other options for playing NES but I would look into the AVS system and a PowerPak.

You can load up the PowerPak with ROMs and play them on the AVS system through any modern TVs plus it has game genie and save state features.

With you selling your xboxone and games you should be able to fund those purchases no problem and you get set up with any NES game you want to play on your HD TV.
