Those are definitely two traits of the original chain before Kay Bee Toys bought them out

I've wanted to get a picture of this before it disappeared one day but never got a good opportunity until last Sunday.

This photo below was the Grossman's in my hometown of Keene, NH back in 1975

Stumbled on this video at the Apache Mall in 1993.....at the 1:28 mark he walks in front of Software ETC....at the 1:38 mark he walks past the Woolworth store and captures a glimpse of a few Nintendo posters and displays, plus the price for the Super NES is in the window. In my area we only had the smaller main st "nickel & dime" Woolworth stores, I don't remember ever being in a Woolworth store with a video game section.
That was awesome!!!

I have a few of the signs hanging up. Grabbed a snip. Thanks for sharing dude!!

Thanks for the quick response. It looks near identical to how the Richmond Ave Staten Island, NY location looked in the 90s and early 2000s (before the blue facade renovations).

I know most Toys R Us locations look very similar, but this one looked near identical with the exit box on the right side of the building.

I remember this as well . Every time I go to Best Buy over there it's sad to see toys r us closed . ]]>
