The third party releases alone total around 1500. It's harder to gauge the first party releases, since Sony included demo discs in their number sequence. Also, the old Digital Press PlayStation book has a complete list of every game, sorted by genre. Yeah I can't wait for it to be totally complete.  I have a secret love affair with PS collecting.  Just something about those 3 systems I can't stay away from.  The only drawback to the playstationcollecting site is that it is geared toward PAL region.  You kind of have to lurk around a bit to get to the NTSC info.

This includes all Greatest Hits variants and Long Box/jewel case variants.  May not be all but is pretty close.  I have only had to add 1 or 2 games since I finished it.
