On the flip side some people find them in their garage and have no idea about games and just look them up on eBay. They wouldn't know to include board pics or don't have the bit to open it up.


What is the track record on eBay siding with buyers who find out they have purchased a bootleg rather than an authentic item? I would think stating an item is not authentic in the fine print should NOT serve as meaningful seller protection when they are selling something illegally. ]]>

You're not missing something. They have magnifying glasses with lights, you can look to see the printing pattern. Then open it up to check the pcb, snes central is a great resource to cross reference but it's usually pretty easy to spot a fake. Wires and such sticking out of the board. I agree with the second comment, take a look first in person before jumping the gun. ]]>
